There is a charge of $10.00 per person per night for each additional adult occupying the Suite. There is no charge for children under 16 staying in the same room with their parents. Age RequirmentsMinimum check in age is 21 years or older. Taxes & FeesTax - Rates are subject to the 5% Provincial Hotel Room Tax and the 6% Goods and Services Tax. Destination Marketing Fee - In order to better promote Ottawa, the Ottawa Gatineau Hotel Association (OGHA) has implemented a Destination Marketing Fee of 3% effective May 30, 2004 to guest rooms used less than 30 days. This fee is only applied to the room portion of a guest’s bill and is inclusive of any taxes, so that the net taxes and fees on guestroom accommodation will now be 14% - the amount charged on most purchases in Canada. All money generated will be used to support Ottawa’s tourism promotion efforts. This is a fee of 2.8% charged against the guest room rate, which is also subject to Goods and Services Tax. It is a total of 3%. Non-Residents can apply for a rebate on the GST
